forgiveness season

forgiveness season is a chapbook of six original poems on the topics of forgiving (or not), seeking forgiveness, and trying to be a better person and trying to make a better world.

For Atonement Jam, I wanted to think about the meanings of the high holy days as I've experienced them by celebrating them with my wife. I also ended up thinking a lot about forgiveness in the news cycle—the way we are expected to forgive and forget (and absolve) some people, and not others.
